Going To Orlando During The Swine Flu Pandemic

The year 2008 may not be over as I type this, and there are still movies released in the year that I have not seen; however, deadlines are deadlines. The following will be my top 5 picks for the Best Science Fiction or Fantasy Movies of 2008. One blockbuster during the summer really ran away with the top spot in this; amazingly combining aspects from both genres.

Heading to Orlando and want to be treated like a VIP at Florida’s most popular theme parks? It’s easier than you might think to live the dream. Here is a guide on how to become a VIP guest at Orlando, Florida’s theme parks.

Don’t forget to dine at one of the local diners while shopping. There is Kokomo which seems to be a celebrity favorite and Dupar’s. I’ve personally eaten in Dupar’s several times and the food is good and reasonable.

Universal Studios in Orlando also offers two live action simulations, Earthquake and Twister. If you’ve experienced either of these firsthand, you can skip the attractions. If you’re interested in knowing what it feels like to experience an 8.3 earthquake, head over to Universal Studios’ recreation of San Francisco. If you want to feel what it’s like to be a storm chaser, Twister can be found in New York City near Revenge of the Mummy.

Some of the big names when it comes to a day off at LA will include a visit to Disneyland, the Six Flags Magic Mountain and the Universal Studio Singapore in Hollywood. LA is not the sort of place where you take your kids to have fun and then slump on a park seat to get bored or check your emails in your smart phone. There is stuff for all ages to do. Think of Paramount Studios and the very famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Another significant reason is the ease of travel. Orlando International Airport welcomes direct flights from most major airports around this country and the world. And it is quite simple to drive to Orlando from in or out of state, thanks to a well-planned series of major highways.

Money to pay for all of this. First, dispense with earmarks. That should net eight billion in the first year alone. Next add $1/pack for additional tobacco taxes. This will get many more billions. Add 10% to the price of all alcohol products. A simple 1% National Sales Tax can be created and added onto purchases.
